With over a decade of dedication to ministry and community service, David has passionately pursued his calling to serve Jesus by reaching out to the unloved and underrepresented. His ministry journey, rooted in prayer and a reliance on God’s grace, has impacted countless lives and helped transform communities across the United States.
Starting out as a volunteer in faith-based organizations, David quickly expanded his reach and responsibility. During his service with the U.S. Coast Guard, he was given the unique opportunity to integrate mentorship, outreach, and gang intervention programs within his regular duties, working extensively with at-risk youth in cities like Los Angeles, CA, and Philadelphia, PA. His roles included mentoring, speaking at schools, and collaborating with law enforcement and educational programs to inspire change and foster hope among young people.
Following his military service, David took on the role of Youth Pastor at a church in Lansing, MI, where he directed a traditional youth group as well as outreach and prevention programs in partnership with nonprofits and detention centers. This role deepened his commitment to serving and advocating for youth, especially those from challenging backgrounds. He later relocated to Florida to be closer to family, where he transitioned to consulting in marketing and advertising, while volunteering for outreach programs in partnership with Greenhouse and the Gainesville Police Department. In 2018, he completed his Bachelor’s degree in Religion & Christian Ministry from Liberty University.
Back in Florida, David became a PE/weightlifting coach and Bible teacher at New Generation Christian School, a school dedicated to serving at-risk youth and students with learning challenges. In addition to his teaching duties, he lead an athletic development program and co-leads a discipleship group on campus. These roles allow him to combine his passions for mentorship, faith, and personal development, fostering positive growth in the lives of students.
Through his work, David is committed to making a lasting impact on his community. Known for his teamwork, sincerity, and dedication to God, he looks forward to leading the Mentorship Program at Made for More, where he hopes to create an even greater legacy of transformation and support for those in need.
